Could you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about your role at Personio?
My name is Peter Sacchet and I am one of the Engineering Managers here at Personio, but also one individual contributor to one of the future teams. In the Engineering department at Personio we work in the SCRUM framework with two weeks sprint cycles. Therefore every week is a little bit different, also depending on the domain that we are working at.
How does a typical working week look like?
The teams at Personio are mainly striving for autonomy. We try to be as decoupled as possible, but of course, that is not always possible. Every function itself has certain alignment meetings, which means that people try to align with certain topics, for example when it comes to backend or frontend related topics.
What is the culture at Personio like?
As Personio is super transparent about what our strategic goal is or in which direction we are moving, everyone has an understanding about where we are actually heading. People here are very creative, therefore everyone is striving towards this vision we are having and working closely together. There is a pretty cool team spirit here.
